just found some link describing the roots of cybergoth, its pretty interesting and i kinda agree with this section:

"CURRENT ISSUES WITH CYBERGOTH

There has been a worrying number of reports of cybergoths telling goths like they are the "great new thing" and that goth is obsolete and dated. I find this to be quite rediculous as cybergoth itself has its basis in the late 80s and early 90s in nearly every way... nothing I would say is up-to-the-minute, except for matching the retro-futuristic fashion craze in the plainstream at the moment. I would hope that the majority of cybergoths would frown (smile less?) upon such behaviour and realise that this type of genre-egotism can only spell trouble for the life-span of cybergoth. Assimilate, don't humiliate. ;) "

cybergothic heeft zoiezo in mijn ogen niks met gothic te maken.

Nieuw is het wel, en ook populairder dan gothic.
Je ziet ook eigenlijk alleen maar jonge mensen rondlopen van zeg 14 tot een jaar of 22

Bij tradtionele gothic is dit veel breder.

Is dit zoiezo niet wat een puber zou zeggen? om in zn eigen ogen te bewijzen dat zijn clubje beter is dan die van anderen? en zo zichzelf beter te voelen?
